Questions/Comments/Concerns :  *A young toddler came into the library with her mother today.  Her mom told Anastasia and me how disappointed the toddler was that we didn't sing the "Here are my glasses" song in storytime this week.  The mother said that she couldn't always remember the words so she couldn't sing it with her daughter at home.  Anastasia and I decided to do an impromptu song together with the whole family, then Anastasia told the mom the name of the song so she could find it on YouTube and sing it at home.  It was a lovely little moment!

Questions/Comments/Concerns :  Just a reminder...I know I told you as you were walking out the door...I think we need to have a discussion with Luann about yelling at toddlers to walk in the library.  I hear her telling them to walk frequently and am uncomfortable with her telling the little ones they have to walk (especially the manner in which she reprimands them - "Walk!  Walk!  WALK!! WALK!!").  Thanks!
